Happy Weekend!

Great job on your Nine Weeks Tests this week!  I know you are ready for your four-day weekend...yay!  Enjoy your break from school...you deserve it.

Monday is Martin Luther King, JR Day ... and President Obama's Second Term Inauguration.

I have provided you with a magazine called, Scholastic News.  Do you remember when we read about bullying?  In this month's issue you can read information, play games, and watch a video to learn about President Obama's Inauguration and Martin Luther King.  Also, you may read other interesting articles...click to find out what they are!!!  Be sure to let me know what you learned and how much fun you had!

I hope you attend Florence Hill Night at Spring Creek BBQ on Tuesday evening!!

The fundraiser will go from 5:00-9:00.  I will be serving rolls from 6:00-6:30 and then eating dinner.  Remember to say hi!

This week we will be finishing up our President Biographies and the Narrative Writing about a life event.  Also, Nine Weeks Tests will be given Wednesday-Friday.
